Regardless of what version you will be using, learning the Essential Skills for handling AutoCAD remains timeless. Having a solid base of Essential AutoCAD skills allows you to learn new improvements quickly and efficiently.
Design and print your own 3D model? How cool is that? This course introduces the processes necessary to print physical 3D models from Revit Architecture digital files. You will have practical experience exporting the .STL format files within Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012, checking for and correcting the file for errors, setting up the 3D printer to receive the file, and printing the 3D model. Bring a 1 MB flash drive to back up your work.
You must have a minimum of 27 hours experience using the Revit Architecture software prior to taking this course. You should be experienced enough to create and modify building levels, modify and place walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, windows and components, modify visibility and view settings, and use the Modify toolset in Revit as a minimum level of competency. Knowledge of a recent Windows operating system is required for this course. A good prerequisite is taking Revit Architecture 2012 Essentials.
