MCSA: Windows Server 2016

This is an optimal way to dive in to learning how to install, configure, and administer a Windows 2016 server. It will prepare you for working as a network or computer systems administrator or support specialist. Topics covered in this course include the following:
• Installation, Storage, and Compute with Windows Server 2016 [Exam 70-740]
• Networking with Windows Server 2016 [Exam 70-741]
• Identity with Windows Server 2016 [Exam 70-742]

This course takes a practical approach with an emphasis on how concepts apply to the workplace. If you want to demonstrate knowledge through certification, you may do so but that is not part of this training.

Expect an accelerated course that requires time outside of class to complete readings to prepare you for each class meeting. This is how you will maximize your in-class learning. This is not a course for beginners. Please register 7 business days before the start of the course to be sure you will have your materials on the first day of class.

Server+

Server+ training prepares you to work in data centers or cloud environments administering any type of network server because of its vendor-neutral approach. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to perform the duties of a server administrator.

This course can benefit you when you are preparing to take the CompTIA Server+ examination (Exam SK0-004).

This course also covers the Microsoft Windows Server 70-410 certification exam objectives and focuses on the skills you need to install and configure Windows Server 2012/R2. After you finish this course, you’ll have an in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2012/R2, including installation, local and remote management, file and storage services, Active Directory, group policies, TCP/IP, networking services, and Hyper-V virtualization. Both the original release of Windows Server 2012 and the R2 release are covered.
